I have some exciting news to share with you! As of the first week of February, Dr. Virginia Morris is joining us at Moonrise Health and Birth. Dr. Morris has over a decade of experience in Naturopathic primary care and is contracted with all major insurance companies including Medicaid/Apple Care plans. Dr. Morris will be available for scheduling on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
After 17 years of doing general family primary care, Dr. Brandy will be focusing on Pediatrics, Reproductive Health, and Midwifery so that she can serve patients in a more focused manner. Here is a little info about Dr. Morris: “I’ve been practicing Naturopathic medicine with a focus on primary care for the last decade. I love that primary care allows me to experience a wide variety of health conditions and patient concerns on a daily basis. This means I am consistently researching new conditions, therapeutics, and referrals. Working with my patients to find a plan for their health that takes into consideration their lived experience and my knowledge is one of my favorite things. My aim is to provide a space for patients to be heard and explore their health in non-judgmental environment. When I’m not working I like to get outdoors and wander around, paint, and consume media in many geeky forms.”
This does not mean you cannot schedule with Dr. Brandy for adult primary care, but more complex situations may be referred to Dr. Virginia so that you can get the best care possible!
